How To Stay Healthy While Working From Home
Health is something that many professionals forfeit all in the name of the dollar. In other words, they substitute a healthy lifestyle with a rich lifestyle. What people like this fail to understand is the fact that true prosperity and riches come from more than just having a “healthy” bank account. Health is way more important than wealth, in fact, there is no wealth without the health needed to enjoy it fully. This is why we find it mandatory to talk about health and wellbeing, especially in regards to your work and your daily productivity.
“The groundwork of all happiness is health.” (James Leigh Hunt)
It is said that over 35 million Americans work from home. That amounts to about a tenth (10%) of the overall population and almost 40% of the workforce population, plus we are well aware this number is rapidly increasing. Here’s how we look at it: it is already clear that America has a health concern that surrounds issues such as diabetes, obesity and cancer. Most of these problems come from unhealthy lifestyles. This is obvious. What is more concerning is the fact that most of these people tackling these health issues are moderately active (meaning they at least get up in the morning, commute and travel to and from work).
What do you think happens when more of us stop doing that and commuting to work is no longer necessary? See where we’re going with this?
We’ve put together a list of things we think you should do to stay healthy while working from home. Some may seem obvious, while others may be regarding things you have constantly overlooked. Either way, it is paramount you take these suggestions into consideration. Take nothing for granted.
